Vicar of South Cave and Ellerker with Broomfleet
Diocese Of York
South Cave, East Yorkshire
Vicar
South Cave and Ellerker with Broomfleet
Our committed and collaborative benefice is seeking a Vicar who
will lead us into the next chapter of our life together as we look to realise
the plans God has for us. We have great
variety in our expressions of church life, worship and ministry but there is a
shared commitment to reach our communities with the transforming love of God.
Our new Vicar
will be self-aware, enjoy variety in ministry, bringing a collaborative and
flexible approach to what they do. They
will have a passionate faith and depth of prayer that enriches them and will
inspire us. They will,
- Envision us
and lead us into growth - Help us to reach families and younger generations
- Value the
bible and its teaching - Actively
engage with our communities - Deepen our discipleship, growing our faith and expressions of
ministry - Embrace the Methodist partnership at All Saints’
We don’t expect
our Vicar to do everything and we wouldn’t want to appoint someone who feels
that they must. We work well as a team,
with committed wardens, lay and ordained colleagues and a benefice
administrator. We will pray for you,
support you practically and enjoy sharing in ministry with you.
You will find us in attractive
countryside, west of Hull and with good transport links nearby. We are praying
for you, excited about our future and look forward to meeting you.
