This role is based at our Woking offices; however, we work flexibly between the office and remotely from home. We welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what remote working may look like for you.
This is a varied and rewarding role, where your contribution will make a real difference in the lives of children and adults whose lives are touched by adoption. We will ensure you receive the training and support you need to succeed.
Adoption South East (ASE) is a regional adoption agency which launched on April 1st 2020, we provide adoption services on behalf of four Local Authorities (Surrey, West Sussex, East Sussex and Brighton and Hove) under a partnership agreement.
We already have nearly 100 staff working in ASE, including Social Workers, Managers, Support Workers and dedicated business support staff, but now we are searching for a Team Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Woking team.
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the team with enquiries and applications from prospective adopters, adult adoptees and updating our case management system.
To ensure we're always providing first-class customer service, you'll need to have excellent interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with a wide range of professionals and service users, along with a high level of written and oral communication. You will also be handling adoption records as part of this role, so we're looking for someone who has had some experience of working with highly confidential information.
Here are the qualities, skills & experiences we are looking for in our Team Administrator:
- Administration experience in a busy office environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident, organised and able to implement a proactive approach to work
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines
If you'd like to be part of a team that makes a real difference – we'd love to hear from you.
