Reporting to: Head of Talent
Box To Box Films is helmed by Academy Award®-winning producer James Gay-Rees and Emmy® winning producer Paul Martin. Together they are responsible for Box To Box’s ever-growing list of stellar productions: from the Netflix international hit series, Formula1: Drive To Survive, to The Kings for Showtime, docuseries Make Or Break for Apple TV+, to The Three Kings and Make Us Dream for Amazon Prime.
2023 will also see our newest productions premiering on Netflix; PGA Golf series, ATP & WTA Tennis (with the participation of all four grand slams), and in partnership with Quad Productions, our premiere series as QuadBox Productions, the 2022 Tour De France.
As the company continues to grow, we are taking on new territories, recently France and Europe, now to Los Angeles. We now need a dynamic Talent Assistant to support our Head of Talent in the London office.
This role is for someone with a keen interest in HR & Recruitment to hit the ground running. With the right attitude to support us in our continued success and grow with the company.
It’s an incredibly exciting time to join Box to Box and we need a candidate to match this.
Responsibilities
• Keeping across all company staffing needs in production and development, attending regular meetings and keeping the team informed
• Management of all talent files and CVs, keeping project information up to date
• Using the preferred industry databases to research and source new talent, creating job specs, and graphics to advertise roles across various websites and social networks
• Building your own relationships and networking with the freelance talent community. Getting involved with various initiatives to promote diversity in the business. Meeting people speculatively with a view to placing them on projects
• Building relationships with internal staff in order to retain and develop talent at Box to Box.
• Liaising with in house Executive Producers/Show Runners to source and hire their project teams. From understanding the brief and schedule, to sourcing initial long lists of candidates, to setting up interviews, and taking references.
• Support the Head of Talent with diary management, and any administrative tasks when required
About you!
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Performs well under pressure with excellent time management skills, ability to juggle and prioritise multiple deadlines
• Excellent people skills & working within a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Positive / “can do” attitude
• Self-starter
• An interest in all forms of broadcast content, from short-form virals, to long-form documentaries to feature films.
This is a great opportunity for someone that might want to side-step from busy production into a more administrative role, or an EA/Coordinator that might want to learn the ropes of talent management and become a vital member of an incredible team.
This role could be a hybrid role and will transition to full time office based, over the coming months.
