We have a range of opportunities for a SEN Secondary Teacher to join our school across a variety of subjects supporting students with communication, speech and language difficulties.

Our school caters for children aged 3 – 19 and despite their challenges with communication, all our pupils fall within age related expectations, therefore we are looking for teachers who can create an exciting and rich curriculum to engage and challenge our pupils.  

This SEN Secondary Teacher role involves teaching our lower secondary aged pupils within a maximum class size of approximately 8 pupils, working alongside an experienced team of Teaching Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

Salary MPS1 £32,407 – MPS6 £48,055

Person Specification – SEN Secondary Teacher

Must have UK QTS

Suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers

Feel passionate about supporting pupils with complex needs

Be creative and flexible

Proactive in adapting lessons to meet pupils needs and abilities
