London

Apply

The post holder will bring the heritage science knowledge and experience required to ensure
the organisation, formatting and accessibility of the Scientific Department digital resources
required by the ongoing NG Digital Dossier Programme. In collaboration with a new DDP
Scientific Information Specialist role, they will act as the Scientific Department's primary
connection to the wider DDP, taking decisions related to their own specialisms and
providing content and other material, and quality assurance, as required. They will have
sufficient delegated authority to ensure that the DDP does not need to always call on
existing staff for programme activities.

The role therefore is key to the successful delivery of the DDP; managing Scientific
department expectations as DDP stakeholders; and ensuring that colleagues – within the
Scientific department – can deliver their other commitments for the DDP, bicentenary, other
projects, and day-to-day activities.

As well as being a member of the Scientific department, the role will work closely with other
DDP-embedded roles in Scientific, Conservation and Curatorial, ensuring consistency and
coherence across departments.
