Salary information: Scale 3, £13,317 – £13,536 per annum (actual salary, pro-rata)

Working hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 2.30pm

Working pattern: Term time only (39 weeks)

Contract type:Part-time, Permanent

Grangewood School is a primary school for children with severe and complex learning disabilities. Currently based in Pinner, Grangewood School is a member of the Eden Academy Trust. As a part of the Eden Academy’s Free School Project, Grangewood School will be relocating in September 2023, to a newly built site in Grand Union Village (Northolt). Once relocated the current Grangewood site will be rebuilt into a brand new all age (3 to 19 years) Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) School due to open in Spring 2025.

Please be aware that this job is to start at the Pinner site now, and move to Northolt in September of this year.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to this key post at Grangewood School. The successful candidate will join a highly effective and professional team dealing with all aspects of school administration.  

Applicants should have some background and experience in office administration in either business or education, have good literacy and numeracy skills, and be familiar with programmes including Word and Excel. Knowledge of SIMS would be beneficial.

One of the main responsibilities of the post holder will be to provide a welcoming, courteous and efficient reception service, working with the Office Admin Team to provide efficient and effective management of the school’s reception and telephone switchboard duties. We would be very pleased to receive applications from candidates with similar experience.
