About the Role
Reporting to our Finance Manager, our Payroll & Accounts Assistant is responsible for managing UK and overseas payrolls with assistance from external payroll providers, managing the timesheet process and supporting with the day-to-day processing of invoices, bank payments and credit control.
Duties include:

The administration and preparation of UK and overseas payrolls

Posting payroll journals and reconciliation of payroll control accounts

Analysing information required for P11Ds

Raising sales invoices, being the main point of contact for queries

Credit control

Checking and coding of purchase ledger invoices

Daily bank reconciliations and the completion of month end reconciliations

Overseeing the business expenditure in line with Company policy, ensuring it is appropriately authorized

Processing and posting staff expenses and reconciliation of petty cash

Setting payments as required by BACS, or by wire transfer, as appropriate
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have extensive experience with finance accounts, specifically accounts payable. Having worked in a busy finance team previously, you will be adaptable, have excellent attention to detail and be a confident communicator. Experience of payroll would be advantageous however full training will be provided.
A familiarity with NetSuite and Expensify, alongside being AAT qualified (or equivalent) would be beneficial but is not essential.
