Occupational Therapist – Leicester

Occupational Therapist

Our Mission:  Committed to helping people live easily and safely in the place they call home.
Our Ethos:  Live a good life in the place you call home surrounded by the people and things you love.

Here at Leicester City Council, we have four Occupational Therapy Teams who work with children, adults with learning disabilities, adults with disabilities and older people. We are changing our attitudes, assumptions, and expectations so that the people we work with live easily and safely in the place they call home.

Join our vibrant, friendly, positive, and collaborative team of experienced Occupational Therapists. You’ll play an integral part in mapping the OT provision for those we work with, utilising your professional and clinical capabilities to assess and arrange equipment and adaptations, developing plans to deliver life-enhancing changes.

You’ll have flexibility in hybrid working being both office based, at one of our city centres offices or working remotely from home to suit your needs. All positions are on a permanent basis with full time and part time positions available. We offer a competitive salary ranging from £28,226 to £39,571 per year, dependant on qualifications, experience and hours worked.

Benefits within the Council range from the local government pension scheme, which is extremely generous and one of the best you’ll come across and the opportunity to work flexibly giving you an excellent work/life balance. Furthermore, we will nurture your continued professional development.

If you’re a Qualified Occupational Therapist who is registered with HCP and are looking for your next role then please get in touch. We are also keen to view applications from newly qualified therapists.
