About our home
At Lewin House in Aylesbury we provide specialist nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, in a comfortable and homely environment.
Conveniently located close to Aylesbury town centre, and easily accessible via public transport, Lewin House provides care for 70 people, in a modern purpose built nursing care home. Our aim is to achieve the very best for the people in our care.
We are currently looking for experienced or newly qualified Registered Nurses (RGN and RMN’s) to come and join our nursing team at Lewin House. We have both full time and part time positions available, working days only, and 12 hour shifts.
Salary:£20.80 per hour for Days with Paid Breaks and £21.00 per hour for Waking Nights with Paid Breaks, plus £4.00 per hour enhancement on bank holidays.

Your daily duties will be to:
Ensure that the NMC code of practice is upheld at all times
Act as a role model for all staff and ensure that a high quality of nursing care is provided at all times for our residents
Monitor and manage the health and well-being of our residents
Be involved with all aspects of nursing care, including personal care
Implement, review and update care plans
Medication management and administration
Maintain accurate detailed reports and records
Ensure that residents received planned or urgent healthcare whenever required
The successful candidate will have:
A passion for providing quality care
A passion and commitment for providing quality nursing care and the ability to lead our team of dedicated care staff.
A live NMC PIN number. Please contact us if you are newly qualified and can evidence completion of preceptorship.
Clinical knowledge with experience as a Registered Nurse in a care or nursing home
Experience in catheterisation (male and female), wound care, venepuncture and PEG feeds
A reliable, trustworthy and flexible approach to work
