What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Network Engineer Apprentice in our Enterprise Cloud Team, you will spend 20% of your time working towards achieving the Level 4 Network Engineer qualification. The rest of your time will be spent working with your team, gaining the skills you need to build your expertise. You will gain experience in:

  • Working within a team to provide networks and systems to deliver key organisation objectives.
  • Ensuring that significant project milestones are reached and projects completed within timescale.
  • Supporting the teams with reliable networking capabilities to enable them deliver projects successfully.
  • Understanding how we protect the firm from external threats and malware attacks amongst other things.
  • Working with the data team, you will learn more about data management within Schroders and how we create and progress with the Schroders data strategy.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Network engineer Level 4

As an apprentice you'll be involved with all the everyday tasks of your team from day one.

You'll be part of one of the most successful and well known brands in the Asset Management industry with opportunities to develop and progress your career during your time here.
