Our client is a well established, financially secure label company with a reputation for high quality products, manufacturing from three facilities in the UK. They are supplying high quality Self Adhesive Reel fed Labels, Unsupported Film / Bottle Wraps, printed Sachet Laminates, Netting Tags, Aluminium Die Cut Foils and Lids, with Flexo, Digital (HP) and Screen print capabilities plus Hotfoil, Deboss/ Emboss, Sequential Numbering & Piggyback Labelling. With FSC, BRC and PS9000 accreditation, core business is in Food, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Horticulture and Petfood markets.
They are currently recruiting for a National Sales Executive to join their innovative, service led team.
The main function of the role is developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales success within the label industry.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve new profitable sales growth through proactive identification of new business opportunities
Establish, maintain and develop customer relationships in order to achieve set budgets and targets
Project manage the introduction of new customers into the business ensuring their effective handover to the account management teams.
To provide timely, accurate and up-to-date reports on customer activities and opportunities
Feedback to the business relevant market information.
Actively promote the company products and work in conjunction with internal departments.
The ideal candidate will have external client facing business development skills, you will be keen to develop a successful career and have the drive and determination to succeed.
Needs a reasonable understanding of materials, print and application processes within flexo and / or digital labelling
Strong track record of business development within the packaging industry
Needs a good understanding of (and contacts within) at least some of the key market sectors
Good standard of computer literacy
Good communication skills
