About The Role
Morrisons now has over 180 in store Florist shops across the UK, this has provided roles for a large number of qualified professional florists.
Our selection of blooms and foliage are freshly delivered daily to the store, and displayed so our customers can choose from a wide variety of stems including tropical and exotic flowers that you would find in any high street florist.
Morrisons works closely with growers to achieve the highest quality and one of the quickest fields to store transit times. This also allows us to offer real competitive prices to our customers. With this relationship we are able to showcase brand new varieties within our range before they are available on the open market.
In all our Morrisons Florists we offer bespoke hand made designs ranging from hand tides, and arrangements in oasis for all occasions.
Customers can choose their flowers and foliage and their item will be prepared while they do their shopping.
We are expanding our services to include sympathy tributes, gifting items and wedding flowers so our Florists shop will cater for all our customers' floral needs.
Part of your role will be to create high quality items, using your floristry skill and knowledge and to maintain a high standard of presentation throughout the department. You will work within the team to increase sales, engage with customers providing advice and support. You will also help to build floristry skills throughout the department by sharing your knowledge to help develop your colleagues.
To be successful you will need to be a fully qualified florist or have the equivalent years service in the industry. You will have an excellent level of knowledge and understanding of the floristry industry along with a high level of creative design and construction of floristry items. Personally you will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with a passion for improving customer satisfaction, profitability and productivity throughout the department.
