Job Introduction

The Locality Manager will work with the CTS/Senior Healthcare Assistants and will be responsible for maintaining and promoting quality care for clients and supervising and coordinating our Community Health Care Assistants. They will work towards a set of goals and targets determined by the Head Office / Homecare Registered Manager.

The LM will work collaboratively with the Care Ops Manager, RM & CTS & CDM to ensure the growth and compliance of the service.

Main Responsibility

To ensure the safe day-to-day running of your office

Have a passion for making a difference within the care sector and promoting person-centred care

Promote Abicare to Commissioning Managers, Hospital Social Workers and Discharge Teams, CHC Teams, GP surgeries, Day Centre’s, Hospices, Personal Injury Lawyers and through networking groups

Have the energy and drive to support, develop and motivate your team to provide a high-quality standard of care to all clients

To work collaboratively with the recruitment team to ensure we have an active recruitment pipeline

Develop your care team to ensure they have the correct skills and knowledge, whilst looking after their safety and well-being. Promote Equality & Diversity

The Ideal Candidate

You will have: 

Previous management experience within the social care sector-preferably Live-in/Domiciliary Care

Minimum of Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care, working towards Level 4/5

Possess excellent organisational and time management skills

Excellent IT and communication skills

A clean driving licence and full access to a car are essential. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Package Description

Salary £30,000 per annum depending on experience
