The Customers business unit carries out a range of activities from supplying electricity and gas to delivering energy services solutions. The Corporate business unit is responsible for various internal functions including employment, litigation, supply chain, corporate finance, transactions, and broad support.
About the role:
Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will be working closely with the Heads of Legal and Business Partners across the business advising on contractual, transactional, statutory, and regulatory issues, providing advice on company law, corporate governance, and legal compliance activities; other responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, providing commercially focussed legal advice, and developing and maintaining a strong and current understanding of the energy industry.
About you:
The ideal candidate will be around 2-5PQE, have experience working within a regulated market, have a strong commercial background, and be able to work within a fast-paced environment.
