Head of HR Operations Contract
Novax Recruitment is looking for a Head of Human Resources for a role in Halton, Widnes.
* 22.50 hours a week
* Partial work week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
* Placement of 2/3 months
As head of HR you will:
* Provide oversight and proactive management and leadership of the HR Operations Division to secure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate policy requirements.
* Provide effective day-to-day leadership of the HR Operations Division, to ensure budget and resource management, effective working practice, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
* Provide support in roles: Payroll, Pension administration, Recruitment, Employment Relations, Pay & Grading arrangements, Trade Union relations.
Key skills/requirements include:
* CIPD level 7 or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
* A detailed understanding of Local Government HR in the local and national political context.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to focus, co-ordinate and implement effective solutions to achieve results and mitigate risk in a HR context.
