A new opportunity has become available for a Customer Service Executive to join an established water systems company located just outside of Wolverhampton. The purpose of the role is to be part of a team providing the first point contact for all customers, delivering a first-class customer experience via telephone and email. You will be required to look after all stages of their customers’ journeys from the order and installation of their equipment, equipment maintenance and contract renewal, right through to resigning customer contracts and negotiating satisfactory outcomes on the rare occasions when things go wrong.
Roles and responsibilities
Handle customer issues, queries and orders on a daily a basis
Manage large volumes of inbound calls and emails in a timely manner and in line with business SLAs
Liaise with the Operational Teams to ensure a proactive service is delivered
Provide first point customer resolution
Identify and understand customer needs, clarify information and provide solutions or alternatives
Build strong relationships by providing outstanding customer service
Ensure that all calls and emails are handled professionally, accurately and in an efficient manner
Person specification
Essential:
GCSE standard of education
Good email and telephone communication skills
Proven positive experience of working in a customer service environment
Able to work as part of a team
Desirable:
Negotiation and decision making
Commercially aware
Microsoft 365 experience
