Carter Murray have partnered with an industry leader in the legal sector who are seeking an experienced Client Development Advisor, that can be based in a number of offices throughout the UK, with knowledge of Business Development and strategic business plans to join them at a critical stage in their growth plans globally.
Role Overview
You will report to the Senior Client Development Manager and develop and implement strategic business plans to increase the quality and effectiveness of BD & marketing campaigns for the pivotal business area of the firm. You will utilise a full mix of business development, where you will have the autonomy to achieve objectives that support the companies international ambition. The role focuses on profitable development and growth of clients, driven by industry and practice lines in the UK, and internationally.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Marketing Communications team to ensure BD and marketing plans and initiatives are delivered in a planned, professional and proactive way.
Proactively track and target revenue and client relationships through analysing financial, matter and relationship data. Present trends and findings to the Liability Division team leaders on a quarterly basis.
Account manage various significant divisional client relationships and help to shape and implement a tailored CRM programme, in line with the firm’s key account management approach.
Work with key practice areas on developing targeted client development programmes for new and existing business opportunities which contribute to the firm’s profitable growth in key markets.
Consistently spearhead the use of the CRM system as a tool for monitoring and planning client relationships and target progress and produce regular CRM reports and analysis.
Define, update and maintain client leader lists, and target lists to ensure visibility of key clients and sector groups.

Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads, manage multiple projects and negotiate
deadlines
Excellent IT skills including the use of Excel spreadsheets, Word and PowerPoint
