Our client, a well-regarded financial planning firm, is seeking a Business Support Administrator to join their team in Edinburgh. This role will be tasked with supporting one of the Directors and will play a key role in the day to day running of the office, as well as supporting the wider team with administrative duties. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop knowledge within the financial industry.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Experience working in a professional environment in a administrative type role.

Have a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands

Proactive and able to prompt using initiative and anticipating requirements

Professional manner and appearance, with confidence to interact with clients

Hard working with a strong desire to learn about the business and the wider financial services sector

Collaborative and a strong team player

Systems skills and agility; efficient in all MS Office applications

Core Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the wider Edinburgh team and ensure the smooth running of the office.

Supporting the day-to-day management responsibilities of the Commercial Director,

Organising client meetings, managing the booking system, greeting clients, preparing refreshments.

Responsible for routine office tasks such as oversight of office supplies, cleaners, scanning documents, audio typing and reception cover.

Liaise with IT Support partner over the timely resolution of issues.

Supporting the Commercial Director; diary management, oversight of inbox, helping prepare presentations and meeting agendas, managing outstanding actions.

Assist with client administration, inputting data, liaising with Providers, gathering information.

Working on specific projects; collating and presenting data, liaising with colleagues, providing updates.

Work with marketing managers on internal/external events and communications.

Supporting the Compliance Manager with interrogation of files, collation of information and regular compliance related tasks

Supporting the Marketing Manager; liaising with event coordinators to ensure smooth running of events.
