Audit & Assurance Summer Vacation Scheme

In Audit & Assurance, your value starts with underpinning the accuracy of a company’s financial information. Critical information that shareholders use to make vital decisions. You’ll gain a detailed understanding of your client’s business, identify key risks and design strategies to mitigate them. Working collaboratively with colleagues and clients, you’ll cover many diverse industries. As each is faced with such a different set of risks, you’ll learn a huge amount and progress very quickly.

But auditing financial statements is just the beginning. More and more, we’re using intelligent machines to automate and standardise processes, so you and your colleagues are able to focus on your clients and your own development. You’ll have greater freedom to think creatively, work together to solve problems, and offer deeper insights.

Your career at Deloitte

What brings us all together at Deloitte? It’s how we approach decisions, how we behave, and our beliefs and our attitudes. In other words: our values. Whatever we do, wherever we are in the world, we lead the way, serve with integrity, take care of each other, foster inclusion, and collaborate for measurable impact. These five shared values lead every decision we make and action we take, guiding us to deliver impact how and where it matters most.

Your skills & qualifications

You’ve achieved great qualifications already, which we’ll not only celebrate, but help to build on. For this role, you will need to have obtained or be studying towards a 2:1 or higher in any degree discipline, and have graduated by September 2022. You will also need to have a minimum of 104 UCAS points (260 UCAS points pre-2017) for your A levels (or equivalent), and a minimum grade 4 (C) in English language , grade 5 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent).

Your next step

If this sounds like the place for you, discover more reasons to connect with us, our people and purpose-driven culture.

Not sure what you want from your career yet? A placement while you're still at university is a great way to find out more about your potential choices. If you’re in the penultimate year of your course at university or are going on to do a Masters, this three- to six-weekplacement could be just right for you.

You’ll be doing real work from day one, using what you’ve learnt at university to help solve complex problems for our clients. Not only will this help you grow, it’ll also give you the chance to explore different business areas and see what types of projects really inspire you. And if you impress us, you could end up with a permanent role here when you graduate.

By joining us, you’ll be connected to inspiring colleagues across the globe. We offer a huge range of career opportunities, where you can choose your own impact and build a future that suits you.

We’re all working together to reshape the business and technology landscape. From Legal and Tax Consulting to Technology and Cyber, to name a few. We’re delivering end-to-end programmes, turning complex challenges into opportunity and redesigning a more connected future. You could be part of it.
