We are recruiting for the following positions:
Apprentice Technician- Biosciences
Apprentice Technician- Engineering
These positions are full time fixed term contracts for 2 years
Salary £19,679 p.a
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to undertake an apprenticeship in the department of Biosciences or Engineering as part of the technical team.
Biosciences
You will join a team of technicians dedicated to supporting the teaching and research in the department of Biosciences. This hands-on role will suit someone with an interest in the areas of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Ecology and Physiology and Pharmacology.
Engineering
The successful applicant will join a team of technicians dedicated to supporting the teaching and research in the department of Engineering. This hands-on role will suit someone with an interest in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Sport and Biomedical Engineering.
For both roles, duties will include supporting the existing technical team, including working towards attaining Apprenticeship Standard ST0248 Laboratory Technician with BTEC Applied Science over 2 years at college on a day release basis.
